Independent AI assessment for operating businesses

Find out where AI will actually help your business — and where it will not.

A flat-fee $300 AI readiness assessment from an experienced AI developer. One hour, straight answers: the opportunities worth pursuing, the ones that are hype for your situation, and what a sensible integration should cost — with no software to sell you.

02 / WHO YOU'RE TALKING TO

A developer who builds AI systems — not a salesperson who resells them.

Ben HornAI Developer · Prometheus7

I design, build, train and run AI systems daily — from large-language-model pipelines and autonomous agents to custom models trained from scratch on commodity hardware. I know what AI can actually do right now, what it cannot, and what it costs, because I build it.

My specialty is identifying precisely where a business would benefit from AI and where it would not, then producing a comprehensive, realistic integration plan without useless, overpriced or unneeded additions.

Sometimes the answer is a $40/month tool and two changed habits. Sometimes it is a serious custom build. Sometimes it is "not yet — fix the process first." You get whichever answer is true.

LIVE

Triage

Every candidate area becomes: AI helps, AI will not help, or fix the process first.

WITHIN 48 HOURS

Written verdict

Ranked opportunities, explicit no-spend areas, realistic cost ranges and a go / no-go recommendation.

A meaningful share of assessments end with "you do not need AI yet." That verdict is included. It may be the cheapest money your business spends on AI: the money it does not waste.

04 / CALIBRATION BY INDUSTRY

Where AI tends to help — and where it does not.

AI is excellent at high-volume, repetitive, text- and data-shaped work. It is poor at judgment, relationships and physical craft. Your assessment is specific to your business.

07 / QUESTIONS

Frequently asked.

What exactly do I get for $300?

A researched one-hour assessment, live workflow triage, a ranked opportunity list, a do-not-spend list, realistic cost ranges and a written go / no-go recommendation within 48 hours.

Do you sell software or take vendor commissions?

No. The assessment is vendor-neutral. A recommendation can be an existing tool, a custom system, a process change or no AI at all.

What if AI is a bad fit?

That is a valid outcome. You receive the reasons, the areas to avoid and the process or data improvements that should come first.

How does the three-session Roadmap work?

The $500 deep-dive produces the implementation plan and a 2-, 5- and 10-year AI direction plan. Two $200 check-ins review implementation, results and the next phase. Total: $900. You book Session 1 here; the check-ins are scheduled together during it.

How do payment and scheduling work?

Choose a Tuesday or Wednesday slot between 8am and 3pm Pacific, provide company context and complete secure Stripe checkout. The slot is held while you pay and confirmed the moment payment completes; the video-call link arrives by email before the session. The 15-minute evaluation is free and books instantly with no payment step.

What should I prepare?

A plain-language description of the company, its core workflows, where time is lost and any systems or constraints that matter. Your website and booking notes are reviewed before the call.

Can we reschedule?

Yes — reply to your confirmation email at least 24 hours before the session and it moves to any open slot at no charge.

What is the refund policy?

Paid sessions are fully refundable up to 48 hours before the start time — just email prometheus7dev@gmail.com. Inside 48 hours, a free reschedule (with at least 24 hours' notice) is the way to go instead. The 15-minute evaluation is free; if you can't make it, a quick email is appreciated so the slot opens up for someone else.
