Prometheus7 — Website Terms of Use

Effective date: August 7, 2026

These terms govern your use of prometheus7.com (the "Site"), operated by Prometheus7 (Benjamin Horn, sole proprietor, Los Angeles, CA). Purchasing services is governed by the Professional Services Terms and, for subscriptions, the Subscription Terms; this page governs the Site itself.

1. The Site's content

Content is provided for general information about Prometheus7's services and research. It is not professional advice of any kind. Research results, benchmarks, and performance figures describe specific experiments under their stated conditions and are not promises about your results.

2. Intellectual property

The Site's content — text, design, images, code samples, research write-ups — belongs to Prometheus7 or its licensors. You may read, link to, and quote it briefly with attribution; you may not republish it wholesale, scrape it into commercial datasets, or use the Prometheus7 name or branding to imply endorsement. Open-source code released by Prometheus7 is governed by the license in its repository, not this page.

3. Acceptable use

Don't attack, probe, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its APIs; don't use the booking or checkout systems fraudulently or to submit others' personal data without authority; don't misrepresent your identity to obtain services.

4. Third-party links and services

Payments run on Stripe; links may lead to third-party sites. Their terms and privacy practices are their own; Prometheus7 isn't responsible for third-party services.

5. Disclaimers; liability

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prometheus7's total liability arising from use of the Site (as distinct from purchased services, which have their own terms) is capped at one hundred US dollars ($100). Nothing limits liability that California law does not allow to be limited.

6. Privacy

The Privacy Policy (prometheus7.com/legal/privacy/) describes what data the Site collects and how it's used, and is part of these terms.

7. Governing law; disputes; changes

California law governs; exclusive venue is the state and federal courts of Los Angeles County (small-claims court permitted for qualifying claims). Terms may be updated by posting a revised version with a new effective date; continued use after posting constitutes acceptance.
