Prometheus7 — Subscription Terms (P7 Knowledge Engine & AI Care Plan)
Effective date: August 7, 2026
These Subscription Terms govern the P7 Knowledge Engine ($149/month) and the AI Care Plan ($250/month) offered by Prometheus7 (Benjamin Horn, sole proprietor, Los Angeles, CA). The Professional Services Terms (prometheus7.com/legal/service-terms/) also apply; where they conflict, this page controls for subscriptions. By subscribing you agree to these terms.
1. Automatic renewal — the disclosures that matter
- Your subscription renews automatically each month and your payment method is charged the monthly price shown at checkout on each renewal date until you cancel.
- Cancel anytime, effective at the end of the current billing period, by either: (a) emailing prometheus7dev@gmail.com with "cancel" from your account email, or (b) using the Stripe-hosted billing/receipt link in any charge email. Cancellation takes effect no later than the next renewal; no further charges after that.
- Price changes: never mid-period. You'll get at least 30 days' email notice before any price change takes effect at a renewal, and canceling before that renewal avoids it entirely.
- No refunds for partial months, except as stated in the Refund & Guarantee Policy or required by law.
2. What the Knowledge Engine subscription includes
- The P7 Knowledge Engine desktop software, licensed to you (§4) for use on your machines.
- Your knowledge model, minted from your data, stored and run entirely on your own computer.
- One guided retraining per month, software updates, and priority email support.
- No usage metering: local questions and self-serve retraining are unlimited and free.
3. Your data
Training and inference run locally on your hardware; the subscription's normal operation sends none of your business data to Prometheus7 or any third party. If you engage the one-time Setup service, data you send me for structuring is handled under the Mutual NDA and used solely to build your model, then deleted from my systems on request after delivery. You own your data and every model artifact minted from it, during and after the subscription.
4. License — what's yours and what's licensed
- Yours outright: your data; your minted model artifacts.
- Licensed to you: the P7 Knowledge Engine software (the engine, mint recipe, and app). While subscribed — and, for the last version delivered to you, perpetually after cancellation — you have a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to run it for your internal business use on your own machines. You may not resell, sublicense, publicly redistribute, or offer the software to third parties as a service, and you may not reverse-engineer it except where law permits.
- After cancellation: the app and your last model keep working on your machine. What ends is retraining support, updates, and priority support. No hostage-taking.
5. Capability and honest limits (read this — it protects both of us)
The Knowledge Engine answers factual questions about what your data records, with a confidence score, and is designed to refuse questions outside your data rather than guess. It is not a general-purpose chatbot, does not draft documents, and — like every AI system — can return wrong or incomplete answers, especially on ambiguous names or thin data. You are responsible for verifying any answer before relying on it for a consequential decision. Model quality depends on your data's quality; the Setup service's own guarantee (Refund Policy) covers the case where your data cannot produce a useful model.
6. Care Plan scope
Monitoring, prompt/model updates, a monthly usage-and-cost review, and priority support for AI systems installed by Prometheus7. It is a maintenance retainer, not an on-call SLA; response target is one business day. Work beyond maintenance (new features, new installs) is quoted separately.
7. Requirements
A computer meeting the stated minimum specs (ordinary modern Windows PC; no GPU required). You are responsible for your own backups of your data and model artifacts; I'll happily script backup for you during Setup.
8. Everything else
Warranties, liability limits, confidentiality, IP of pre-existing materials, disputes, and governing law are as in the Professional Services Terms. Total liability for subscription claims is capped at the subscription fees you paid in the three (3) months before the claim arose.
